Mella AI Phone Assistant

Your phone, answered.
Every single time.

Mella is an AI phone assistant you set up yourself. Describe your business in plain English, listen to it talk, connect a number — and it starts answering. No installation, no hardware, no one to train.

A Real Conversation, Not a Phone Menu

No "press one for bookings". Mella listens, asks what it still needs, and gets to the point the caller rang about.

Answers on the first ring

On your own number, at any hour. Nothing rings out, nothing goes to voicemail, and nobody waits on hold.

Takes the booking or the job

Captures the appointment, the order or the enquiry, asks for whatever is missing, and reads the details back before it finishes.

Hands over to a person

The moment someone asks for one, or the call goes past what you told it to handle. It never pretends to be something it is not.

Writes everything down

A full transcript, a short summary, and exactly the details you asked it to collect — ready for you the moment the call ends.

Speaks 32 languages

English, Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish, Tamil and more — and it follows the caller when they change language part-way through a call.

Sounds the way you want

Pick the voice, set the greeting, decide what it should never say. Change any of it later and it takes effect on the next call.

What Happens When Your Phone Rings

Four things, in under a second each, for the whole call.

Instantly

It picks up

Your number rings straight through to Mella. No menu, no hold music, no "your call is important to us".

As they speak

It understands

Speech becomes text while the caller is still talking, so there is no pause before it answers.

Back and forth

It holds the conversation

It asks for what is missing, confirms what it heard, and copes when someone changes their mind mid-sentence.

On hang-up

It writes it up

Transcript, summary and the details you wanted, sent where you asked. You read it, you do not re-take it.

Set It Up Yourself, Today

You do not need a developer, an IT person, or a meeting with us. You need a description of your business and about ten minutes.

Describe your business

A few sentences in plain English — what you do, what callers usually want, and what you would rather it did not promise. Mella writes the instructions from that.

Listen to it talk

Have a conversation with it in your browser before it goes anywhere near a real caller. Change the wording, the voice or the rules until it sounds right.

Connect a number

Take a new number through Mella, or point your existing one at it. Business identity is verified first, the way phone numbers are meant to be.

It starts answering

That is the whole setup. Nothing to install, nothing to host, nothing running on a machine in your office.

Anyone Who Loses Work to a Missed Call

If the phone rings while your hands are full, this is the problem Mella was built for.

Trades and home services

After-hours callouts captured instead of going to voicemail and to whoever answers next.

Salons and clinics

Appointments and reschedules handled without pulling anyone off the floor mid-client.

Restaurants and takeaway

Bookings and orders taken right through the Friday rush, when nobody can reach the phone.

Transport and logistics

Pickup bookings and job status answered without tying up a dispatcher all day.

Property and rentals

Enquiries and inspection times handled while you are out at another property.

Sole traders

A phone that is always answered, without paying someone to sit beside it.

One Price, and the Time You Actually Use

No setup fee, no minimum term, no per-seat licence. Build it and test it for nothing — you only pay once a number is connected.

$27.50

per phone number, per month, including GST

The Things People Ask First

Will callers know it is not a person?

Mella introduces itself as an assistant. It is built to sound natural, not to deceive anyone — and the moment a caller asks for a human, it hands the call over rather than talking them out of it.

Can I use my existing business number?

Yes. You can point the number you already advertise at Mella, or take a new one through the app and keep your old line as it is. Many businesses start with a second number and move across once they trust it.

What happens if it does not understand someone?

It asks again, in plainer words. If it still cannot help — or the call is outside what you told it to handle — it transfers to whoever you nominate, or takes a message and sends it to you.

Do I need to know anything technical?

No. You write a few sentences about your business the way you would explain it to a new staff member. There is nothing to code, install or configure on a server.

Why do I have to verify my identity?

Australian phone numbers carry legal obligations, so the law requires the business behind a number to be identified before it is issued. It is a one-off check, and you can build and test everything before you do it.

What if I would rather you set it up for me?

We do that too. SixVM will review your real calls, write the flow with you, and run it on a test number before it touches your main line — book a free consultation and we will talk it through.

Build Your Assistant in Ten Minutes

Describe your business, listen to it answer, and decide afterwards whether to connect a number. Building and testing costs nothing.
